Sculpette vs Boomba

Sizes, shades, prices and terms, side by side — and the part that matters most if you are ordering from the UK.

2 min read

We are asked this often enough to write it down. Below is what each brand publishes, with no adjectives. Figures for the other brand were taken from their own website in September 2026 and are in US dollars, as listed there — check them before you buy, because prices move.

The short answer

These are close products. Both make adhesive silicone inserts, both size well beyond the usual A-to-D, and both are reusable. If you are shopping from the United States, it is a genuine toss-up. If you are shopping from the United Kingdom, the difference is almost entirely about how the parcel gets to you.

Sizes

We size AA to I, matched to cup volume rather than the letter printed on your bra — a 32D and a 36B hold the same amount, so they take the same insert. Their insert line is also published as AA to I.

Neither ladder is better than the other. What matters is whether the brand gives you a way to translate your bra size, which is what our size guide is for.

Shades

We make five: Porcelain, Nude, Honey, Caramel and Cocoa. Their insert line lists four. If you are between two shades, match the skin around the piece rather than the skin under it — the edge is what you are trying to hide.

Price

Our Sculpt is £39, and every price on this site is in pounds with VAT included where it applies. Their headline insert was listed at $55 in September 2026 on their own site.

Do not convert one to the other and stop there. What a UK order actually costs you depends on delivery and on whether any import charges land on the doormat, which is the next section.

Delivery to the UK — the part that matters

We post from inside the United Kingdom with Royal Mail Tracked 48, 3 to 5 working days, free over £45 and £3.95 below that. Nothing is added at the door.

Their site offers free shipping over $40 and quotes roughly 4 to 12 days, from the United States. For a UK address that means a longer transit and a parcel crossing a customs border, so check at their checkout whether UK VAT is collected up front or left to be charged on delivery with a handling fee.

How long each lasts

We say up to 50 wears, washed after every wear and stored on the film. They publish 40+ wears. Both numbers assume you look after them; neither survives body lotion. The method that decides it is in how to clean a sticky bra.

Returns

Ours is a 30-day fit guarantee: wear the piece once, at home, with the outfit you bought it for, and if the fit is wrong send it back for an exchange or a refund. On top of that you keep your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which apply because we sell to you in the UK.

Their published policy is 30 days with one exchange. A return posted to the United States is a different proposition from one posted within the UK, both in cost and in time.

Which to pick

If you are in the United States, buy whichever you like the look of. If you are in the United Kingdom, the sensible test is: how quickly do you need it, and do you want a return address on this island. That is the honest difference, and it is the reason this shop exists.
